All Saints Church of England Primary and Nursery School

Joining All Saints

When your child is registered at All Saints Nursery, you will be offered a welcome pack including information about sessions, pricing, funding, and meals as well as an ‘All About Me’ form to complete about your child. You will then be offered a home visit, where two of our nursery team will get to know you and your child, in the comfort of your own home. This is also an opportunity for you to talk about any worries or questions you may have about your child starting nursery.

You will then be offered some settling sessions that will be tailored to the needs of you and your child. Our practitioners are very experienced in settling young children and we will always telephone parents if a child is finding it hard to settle or is unhappy. Every child is different, we value parents’ knowledge of their child, and we are happy to work with parents to help each child settle at their own pace.

Once your child is happy and settled, they can begin their Nursery sessions.    Throughout the term we offer ‘Parent pop in and play’ sessions where you can stay and play with your child as well as cooking, singing and even Forest School sessions. At these sessions you will be welcome to talk to our Nursery teacher or your child’s key practitioner about your child’s development and their learning. We hold yearly parent consultations in the Summer term where you'll be invited to discuss your child's learning, progress and next steps.

Nursery Uniform

Our All Saints Nursery Uniform comprises of:

  • Nursery jumper
  • White T-shirt
  • Black leggings or jogging bottoms/shorts
  • Velcro shoes/plimsolls

Previously, some parents have also chosen school trousers/dresses for their children, and these will still be suitable should you wish to purchase them.

Our uniform is available to purchase from:

Shirt Logos, Elva Way

Telephone no: 223916

We also require that each child brings with them every day two sets of spare clothes and a supply of nappies/wipes if required. We are fortunate enough at the Nursery to have a large supply of wet weather clothing, sunhats, and sun cream, so these are not needed.
