Our Staff

Nursery Teacher

Mrs Katherine Barrellie BA (Hons) QTS

Mrs Barrellie is our Nursery teacher and manager who has over twenty years' experience in teaching young children. Mrs Barrellie is passionate about children's learning and development in the early years. She loves to teach number, physical development and story telling. Mrs Barrellie is our SEN practitioner working closely with Mr Shelton who is our All Saints SENCO. She also is qualified in paediatric first aid, Elkan speech and language and is a designated safeguarding lead. Mrs Barrellie works closely with Laura Smith on transition through to the Reception class.


Laura Smith BA (Hons) QTS

Mrs Smith is our Early Years lead and teaches our Reception class in All Saints School. She works very closely with Mrs Barrellie supporting her in overseeing EYFS, the professional development of our team and transitioning through to school.  Mrs Smith is also a Lead Practitioner for East Sussex County Council, monitoring provision across the Local Authority.


Louise Shelton NNEB

Louise is our three- and four-year-old room lead who has over thirty years' experience in working with young children. She is NNEB qualified and has level 2 food hygiene and is a paediatric first aider. Louise enjoys creative activities with the children and leads on all cooking activities at the setting.


Laura Brown

Laura is our Level 4 qualified two year old lead and has over 20 years' experience in teaching and caring for young children. Laura is pediatric first aid trained and is also working on the HALO project within our setting. Laura is very experienced in settling young children and supporting families as they start our setting. She is currently studying for her BA (Hons) in Early Childhood.



Amanda is a very experienced level 3 practitioner with over 15 years' experience. Amanda works with our two-year old's in the setting. She is our Forest school lead and supports our Forest School Teacher every forest school session. Amanda also leads on our outdoor play and our vegetable garden. She is also a pediatric first aider.


Sarah Marshall NNEB

Sarah is a highly experienced practitioner with our 3-4 year old children. She is a paediatric first aider who enjoys art and literacy activities within the setting.


Emily Ridgley

Emily is a qualified level 2 practitioner who works across all the age groups at the setting. She is currently working towards her level 3 practitioner qualification. Emily is passionate about outdoor and creative learning.


Grace Richmond

Grace is a practitioner with our 3-4 year old's and is working towards her level 3 practitioner qualification. Grace has a degree in Fine Art and a range of experience teaching children art and creative activities.


Ruth Sinclair

Ruth is a nursery apprentice working towards her level 2 qualification. She really enjoys creative and literacy activities.


Jodie O’Dell

Jodie is a nursery apprentice working towards her level 2 qualification. She supports the two year old children at the setting and is passionate about storytelling and the natural world.


Mrs Zoe O’Brien BA (Hons) QTS

Zoe is our very experienced Forest School teacher who  teaches Forest School to our Nursery children twice a week.


Mr Jack Wright

Jack is a Physical Education apprentice who is working towards his level 3 qualification. Jack teaches gross motor skills to our Nursery children every week.


Miss Clare Holman Hobbs BA (Hons)

Miss Hobbs is our Key worker who supports the children and their families across the school and nursery.
