Safeguarding
The care and safety of children in school is All Saints' highest priority.
The school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is the Deputy Headteacher Mr Craig Shelton.
The Deputy DSLs are the Headteacher Mr Mike Taylor, Mrs Katy Bryant & Mrs Kathy Barrellie.
The governor who has responsibility for safeguarding is Mr Mike Dowsett.
Our Safeguarding and Online Safety policies can be found below or you can request a paper copy from the school office.
Any concerns regarding the safeguarding of children in school must be recorded and communicated to the DSL’s immediately;
If it isn’t possible to communicate a serious child protection concern, one where a child is in imminent risk of harm, the reporting adult has a duty of care and should seek advice by consulting Single Point of Advice (SPOA) team on 01323 464222.
All Saints are part of the East Sussex County Council and Sussex Police OPERATION ENCOMPASS initiative. The single point of contact for this and our PREVENT Strategy is our Designated Safeguarding Lead.
Below are links that may support you if you have any concerns about children's wellbeing or if you require more information about services available to you and your family.
Safeguarding concerns relating to health and safety on site/security of the site should also be recorded and reported immediately. If it is not possible to speak with any of the DSL’s, these concerns may be reported to the School Business Manager, Mrs Helen Vine, or the Site Manager, Mr Michael Mausenbaum on 01424 219083
